2015年，共描述发表中国两栖爬行动物新物种11个，其中两栖纲5种（均为无尾目），爬行纲6种（蜥蜴亚目5种和蛇亚目1种）；报道两栖纲中国新纪录种1个，爬行纲中国新纪录种2个；另外，两栖纲（有尾目）和爬行纲（蛇亚目）各有1个物种的分类地位发生变动。

4  分类地位变动

4.1 Nishikawa et al. (2015) 研究建议：大围山疣螈Tylototriton daweishanensis Zhao, Rao, Liu, Li and Yuan, 2012为滇南疣螈Tylototriton yangi Hou, Zhang, Zhou, Li and Lu, 2012的次订同物异名。

4.2  Zhong et al. (2015) 依据分子和形态学证据，将云南颈斑蛇Plagiopholis unipostocularis Zhao, Jiang and Huang, 1978作为颈斑蛇Plagiopholis blakewayiBoulenger, 1893的次订同物异名。
